The Staff Excellence Awards Committee will select at least one student employee to receive an Outstanding Student Employee Award each year. The award is intended to show appreciation and recognition of student employees whose contributions strengthen Missouri S&T's mission and daily operations.
Nominee eligibility
- Nominees must have been employed as a student employee (part-time/hourly), enrolled, and in good academic standing at Missouri S&T within the current academic year.
- Student employees who have won the award within the past five years are not eligible.
Criteria for nominations
- Nominations must detail how the student employee demonstrates outstanding job performance and contributes positively to Missouri S&T.
- Nominations should include specific examples of the nominee's reliability, quality of work, customer service, impact on campus and/or professionalism supporting Missouri S&T's mission through their work as a student employee.
